SHIVERING SCREENS: A RETROSPECTION FROM THE CINEMATHEQUE
I have chosen to list my favorite movies as seen based on the calendar year rather than on the film released year. Therefore, the window for ranking my top films is February to February. I viewed 42 films from 13 different countries on the large screen in 2004. The top fifteen is well represented in genre and origination country (five different countries represented). Anyway, here are the top fifteen films that I found most enjoyable this year.
Bill also picked his favorite films of 2004, check them out at Bill's Favorites of 2004.
